Aww, remember when we went to see Andrew Bird perform in that one church near Carnegie and then there was a surprise performance by Beirut? Damn, vina. Talk about the most hipster statement ever.
no, this is: that show was before they got ‘popular.
nighttime swim-floating with no one but the full moon.
lovely start to the vacation. my dresser and bed are stacked with books, my notebook and sketchbook, alongside my pens and markers…just like home.
an hour after blueberry waffles, we spent the entire morning downstairs at the pool. my youngest nephew hates to go into the water, but i managed to coax him into hanging onto my shoulders for a piggyback ride. happiness.
it was adult swim afterwards, and i was the only one left in the pool. i leaned on the edge and watched my two sisters read through the gossip rags. and then i floated. my favorite thing to do, floating on one’s back is a beautiful moment, no other sensation like it.
imagine if you met someone on tumblr and then randomly fell in love with them and skyped for hours on end and finally met them and then after a few years you would get married and have 2 kids named after fictional characters and a house lined with books and boxsets and momentos from all the conventions you attended together and it would all be because you decided to start a dumb blog on tumblr.com
LOL kill me.

[hooray] i love it when people IM me at work asking if i have a moment. for a split second, i feel the joy of possibly responding with, “why YES, i do have a moment. i have lots of moments and no fucks to give.”
“everything i’m not made me everything i am.”
